our Sweet Pea class members to
English Afterschool lessons at Kousai!
We have a terrific group of kids
who love to have fun learning English using
repetition, song, dance, actions,
phonemic awareness and games.

新しいお友だちと英語アフタースクールの
レッスンがスタート！
反復したり、歌やダンス、アクション、
フォニックスやゲームをしたりしながら
楽しく英語に触れています。

We have been learning about ourselves
and family members and can sing the song;
“I love Them All”, making actions with
our hands and fingers. Our class loves to dance
and sing, enjoying activities which involve
movement in the class.
They especially like to “crawl like an alligator”
and mimic other animals and their movement.

今は「自分」と「家族」をテーマにレッスン中です。
手あそび歌の“I love Them All”を歌ったりしながら、
家族の呼び方がわかるようになってきました。
ダンスや歌、体を使った動きが大好きで、
特に人気なのは、“crawl like an alligator”！
など、動物の真似をして動くことです。

Our Sweet Pea class can count from
1 to 10 and can sing “Ten Little Monkeys”.
On this day, we hunted for frogs around
the classroom, matched them on posters
and counted them together.

1～10までの数字もバッチリ！
“Ten Little Monkeys”の歌もしっかり歌えてます！
この日は保育室の中に隠れていたカエルを見つけて、
何匹いたかカエルを数えてみました。

Sweet Peas usually end their lesson
with a Phonemic Awareness activity
and a game. Here, the children sang
the alphabet song and called out “stop!”
when they heard “F”. We looked at upper
and lower case “F” and completed
a phonemic awareness worksheet.

レッスンの最後は、フォニックスの時間！
今回のアルファベットは“F”。
アルファベットソングの中で“F”を探したり、
ワークシートで大文字や小文字の読み書きをして、
“F”についてたくさん学びました！
